Custom development, content and international visibility
La Smorfia Napoletana is a personal digital project created to make a popular tradition connected to dreams, symbols and numbers from Neapolitan culture accessible online.
Over time, the project grew into a complex multilingual portal, custom developed and supported by databases, search tools, editorial content and ongoing SEO work.
The project began with the idea of transforming a cultural and popular tradition into an organized digital resource that could be easily explored by users from different countries.
The goal was to build a portal able to manage large amounts of content, searches, interpretations and languages while remaining easy to use and ready to grow.
I designed the logo, interface and portal architecture, developed databases, CMS, internal search, custom services and versions in 15 languages, while also working continuously on SEO.
I built the project progressively and completely around its real needs, adapting structure, content and tools to user behavior and to the evolution of the website over the years.
Over time, the project grew into an international portal available in 15 languages, with a custom technological and editorial structure. Continuous work on development, content, internal search and SEO helped expand the audience, improve visibility and build an independent and sustainable digital project.
